Why PDF and not DOCX
A PDF carries its own fonts and layout, so it prints exactly as you designed it. A DOCX is re-rendered by whatever opens it, which is how page breaks move, tables split and fonts get substituted between your screen and the press. DOCX, JPG and PNG are accepted, but export to PDF first if the layout matters at all. For reference, a typical pdf print job we print for Rishieksh runs about 121 pages in a single copy.
Preparing the file
Embed the fonts. Keep images at 300 DPI. Hold one page size throughout — a PDF that mixes A4 and A3 is the most common reason a job comes back looking wrong.
