  4. Order Placement and Acceptance
    • The display of Products on the Site is an invitation to offer. The placement of an Order by You constitutes an offer by You to purchase the Products on these Terms.
    • A binding contract is formed only when Printster confirms acceptance of Your Order by an order-confirmation e-mail or by dispatch of the Products, whichever is earlier. Until such acceptance, Printster reserves the right to decline the Order, without liability, including where the Customer Content is illegible, corrupted, or unprintable; the Order contains prohibited material; the price was incorrect due to a manifest error; the delivery pincode is outside Our serviceable area; or payment has not been successfully received.
    • Where Printster declines an Order after payment has been received, the full amount paid will be refunded through the original payment instrument within 10 (ten) Working Days.
    • Printster may, at its discretion, request OTP-based or telephonic verification before processing high-value or bulk Orders, in compliance with applicable anti-fraud and KYC norms.

  5. Pricing, GST and Payment
    • All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and, unless expressly stated, are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). A GST-compliant tax invoice will be made available for every Order.
    • Customers requiring a B2B invoice with GSTIN must enter the correct GSTIN at the time of placing the Order. GSTIN cannot be added or modified after Order acceptance.
    • Printster reserves the right to revise prices at any time. The price applicable to an Order is the price displayed at the time the Order is placed and accepted.
    • Payment for retail Orders must be made online and in advance through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways such as Razorpay, Paytm, PayU and other authorised payment processors. Printster does not store full card details, CVV or net-banking credentials.
    • B2B / Credit Account Customers: Credit terms are available only to Customers expressly approved in writing by Printster. Credit period: 30 days from the date of invoice. Late payment interest: 18% per annum, compounded annually, calculated from the date of invoice; in case of default in respect of more than one invoice, interest is calculated from the date of the earliest unpaid invoice. Printster may suspend services, withhold deliveries or revoke credit terms in case of default. These credit terms do not apply to retail B2C Orders.
    • Promotions, Coupons and Offers: Promotions are time-bound and applicable only during the period stated. Coupons may apply only above a minimum cart value; each Order is eligible for one coupon at a time. Coupon codes once removed during checkout cannot be re-applied to the same Order after payment. Where free delivery is offered through any promotion, Printster reserves the right to choose the courier partner; the Customer's preference shall not be applicable. Free delivery promotions are valid only for selected pincodes as displayed at checkout.

  6. Customer Content, Files and Print Settings
    • Printster accepts the following file formats: PDF, DOCX, DOC, PPT, PPTX, JPG, PNG, ZIP. We strongly recommend uploading PDF files for the most accurate output.
    • Printster will print the file in accordance with the print settings selected by the Customer. It is the Customer's sole responsibility to verify the file content and print settings before submission. Printster is not obliged to contact the Customer to verify settings prior to printing and will not be liable for any error, omission, financial or reputational loss arising from incorrect settings or content supplied by the Customer.
    • Where any file supplied by the Customer is corrupt, incomplete, password-protected, of low resolution, or otherwise unprintable, Printster is not responsible for the resulting print output and may, at its discretion, request a replacement file or cancel the Order.
    • Printed output may differ from the on-screen preview due to RGB-to-CMYK colour space conversion, monitor calibration differences, paper type / weight / absorbency and ambient lighting. Variations within standard commercial printing tolerances do not constitute a defect.
    • Margins, fonts and characters in DOCX, DOC, PPT and PPTX files may render differently due to differences in software versions, fonts and rendering engines. Customers must ensure all fonts are embedded in PDFs.
    • Printster does not perform borderless printing. Every print includes a margin on all sides. Margin trimming may be requested but is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
    • The "Special Instructions" field allows the Customer to convey additional requirements. Printster makes reasonable efforts to comply, but owing to high Order volume there may be instances where Special Instructions are not implemented. No refund or compensation shall be payable where Special Instructions are not implemented in part or in whole.
    • Order modifications after placement (file, settings, address or quantity) are accommodated solely at Printster's discretion and only if production has not commenced.
    • Pre-press proof for bulk / custom orders: For bulk, custom-finish, hard-bound, large-format or high-value Orders, Printster may share a digital pre-press proof for the Customer's approval before commencing production. Once approved in writing, the Customer waives all claims relating to content, layout, colour, fonts and design appearing in the approved proof.
    • Substitution of materials: Where a specific paper, board, lamination or binding material is unavailable, Printster reserves the right to substitute it with a material of equivalent specification and quality without prior notice.

  7. Copyright, Intellectual Property and Customer Indemnification
    • By uploading any Customer Content for printing, You expressly represent and warrant that You are the sole owner of all rights subsisting in the Customer Content, or have obtained all necessary licences, permissions, consents and releases; the Customer Content does not infringe any third-party rights; and the Customer Content is not defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing, threatening, hateful, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable.
    • Printster acts solely as a printing service provider executing print jobs in accordance with files and instructions submitted by the Customer. Printster does not edit, screen, vet, validate or moderate Customer Content for legality, ownership or accuracy and is under no obligation to do so.
    • Printster qualifies as an "intermediary" within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in respect of Customer Content stored, hosted or transmitted on the Site for fulfilment of Orders, and is entitled to the safe-harbour protection under Section 79 of the said Act read with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
    • Printster shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any infringement of copyright, trademark, design, patent, right of privacy, right of publicity, moral right or other proprietary right of any third party arising out of or in connection with the printing of Customer Content. The entire responsibility, risk and liability for the legality, ownership and content of Customer Content rests solely with the Customer.
    • The act of printing by Printster is mechanical and ministerial and does not constitute publication, endorsement or sponsorship of the Customer Content by Printster.
    • Prohibited content: The Customer shall not upload, transmit, request the printing of, or use the Site to produce any Product that is pornographic, obscene, paedophilic, lascivious or otherwise objectionable; defamatory, libellous, harassing, threatening or invasive of privacy; incites violence, hatred, terrorism or any unlawful activity; infringes any third-party intellectual property right; is or purports to be a marksheet, certificate, identity document, licence, voter card, PAN card, Aadhaar, passport or any document issued by a Government, statutory, educational or regulatory authority; is or appears to be currency notes, coins, postage stamps, revenue stamps or any negotiable instrument; infringes the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950; or violates the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 or any other applicable Indian law.
    • Government and institutional certificates: Where an Order is inadvertently placed for any document of the kind described above, Printster reserves the right to (a) cancel the Order without refund of design / processing charges, (b) overprint the document with "COPY" or "DUPLICATE", and / or (c) report the matter to the appropriate law-enforcement authorities. The Customer shall indemnify Printster fully against all consequences arising from any such Order.
    • Notice and takedown: Any rights-holder who believes that Customer Content infringes their rights may submit a written notice to the Grievance Officer containing details of the infringed work, proof of ownership, the Order or URL complained of, and a statement of good faith. Printster shall act in accordance with Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
    • Customer indemnification: The Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Printster, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors and affiliates against any and all claims, demands, suits, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach of these Terms by the Customer, any third-party claim relating to Customer Content, and any unlawful or unauthorised use of the Site by the Customer.
    • Printster's intellectual property: The Site and all content (other than Customer Content), including graphics, photographs, layouts, fonts, software, code, the "Printster" name, logo and brand elements, are the copyrighted and / or trademarked property of Printster or its licensors. All rights are reserved worldwide.

  8. Production, Delivery and Transfer of Risk
    • Stated delivery timelines on the Site apply to print jobs of up to 1,000 pages and to the binding types Spiral, Comb and Wiro only.
    • Indicative delivery timelines: Delhi NCR — 4 to 7 Working Days; rest of India — 7 to 10 Working Days. For Soft Cover, Hard Bound, Glue Tape and Saddle Stitch binding, an additional 1–2 Working Days will apply.
    • For files that are scanned or larger than 100 MB, the standard timelines do not apply. The Customer may contact +91-9643230482 for an indicative timeline.
    • Delivery timelines are calculated from the next Working Day after the Order is accepted and are estimates only, not a binding commitment.
    • Pincode serviceability and address accuracy: Delivery is offered only at pincodes serviceable by Our courier partners. Where non-delivery occurs due to an incorrect, incomplete or non-serviceable address, an unavailable consignee, refusal to accept delivery, or any cause attributable to the Customer, the cost of re-delivery, including additional courier charges, will be borne by the Customer; if re-delivery is not possible, the Order will be deemed delivered and no refund shall be due.
    • Transfer of title and risk: Title to and risk in the Products shall pass from Printster to the Customer at the time of handover of the Products to the courier or logistics provider. For Products provided in electronic format, delivery shall be deemed to have taken place at the time We transmit the Product, or notify the Customer that the Product is available for download.
    • Third-party logistics: Fulfilment is performed through third-party courier and logistics providers. Printster shall not be liable for any delay, mis-delivery, loss or damage caused by any such third party once the Products have been handed over to them. The Customer's recourse shall be against Printster's reprint / refund framework set out below, and not against Printster as a carrier.
    • Force majeure: Printster shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond Printster's reasonable control, including act of God, fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, lockdown, strikes, riots, civil disturbance, war, acts of terror, governmental order or restriction, courier or postal strike, unavailability of paper or other raw materials, or failure of any third-party service provider including payment gateways, courier networks and cloud providers.

  9. Cancellation
    • Owing to the made-to-order and personalised nature of all Products, an Order is generally not cancellable once placed.
    • Cancellation requested before production has commenced: a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the Order value shall be deducted, and the balance refunded to the original payment instrument within 10 Working Days.
    • Cancellation requested after production has commenced: the Order is not cancellable and no refund shall be payable.
    • Cancellation requests must be made in writing to print@printster.in (with copy to gaurav@printster.in) quoting the Order number, within 2 hours of placing the Order to maximise the chance that production has not commenced.
    • Printster may cancel an Order at any time and refund the amount paid in full where payment has not been successfully received; the Customer Content is unprintable, corrupted or in breach of the prohibited-content clause; or the Order cannot be fulfilled for any operational, technical or compliance reason.
    • Where the Customer has been charged twice for a single transaction due to a payment-gateway error, the duplicate amount will be refunded to the original payment instrument within 15 Working Days of confirmation by the payment processor. Failed-transaction refunds shall follow the timelines under the Reserve Bank of India's Master Direction on Harmonisation of Turn Around Time.

  10. Damage, Shortage and Defect Claims — Mandatory Unboxing Video
    • The Customer shall inspect the Products immediately upon delivery. Claim windows are time-bound and depend on the type of issue:
    • (a) Visibly damaged parcel / in-transit damage to the Product — 48 hours. Any claim that the parcel arrived in a damaged condition, or that the Product has been physically damaged in transit (torn pages, broken binding, water / liquid damage, crushed corners, etc.), must be intimated in writing to print@printster.in within 48 hours of delivery, supported by the mandatory unboxing video and photographs (see below). Beyond 48 hours, no claim for damage shall be entertained.
    • (b) Missing items, wrong items, shortages and other non-damage defects — 7 calendar days. Any claim relating to missing items, wrong items, shortages, or defective production (such as wrong paper size, wrong binding type, wrong colour mode or substantially incorrect collation) must be intimated in writing to print@printster.in within 7 (seven) calendar days of delivery, supported by photographs and a written description. Where the issue is one that an unboxing video can evidence (for example, missing items or wrong items in the parcel), the unboxing video set out below is also required.
    • Failing intimation within the applicable window above, the Products shall be deemed delivered in good condition and accepted, and no claim shall be entertained.
    • Mandatory unboxing video for damage / missing / wrong-item / shortage claims: All claims for in-transit damage, missing items, wrong items, or shortage are mandatorily subject to the submission of a clear, continuous and unedited unboxing video of the parcel. Without a valid unboxing video, no such claim shall be entertained, and no refund, reprint or replacement shall be issued.
    • The unboxing video must be a single, continuous recording (not edited, paused, cropped, sped up or stitched); begin with a clear view of the sealed and untampered outer packaging including the courier shipping label and Printster logo; clearly show the breaking of the seal, opening of the package, and removal of all contents; clearly show the alleged damage, missing item, wrong item or defect; be of sufficient lighting and resolution to identify the issue; and be submitted along with the Order number, photographs and a written description, within the applicable window above (48 hours for damage; 7 calendar days for missing / wrong / shortage).
    • Where the unboxing video does not meet the above requirements, where the seal of the package appears broken, tampered or re-sealed prior to the start of the recording, or where the recording is not continuous, Printster reserves the right to reject the claim at its sole discretion.
    • What constitutes a defect: a material deviation in the Products from the print settings selected by the Customer at the time of Order, such as wrong paper size, wrong binding type, wrong number of copies, wrong colour mode (where colour was selected) or substantially incorrect collation.
    • Variations not treated as defects: minor scratches, dots, lines, smudges or specks on the print; minor folding, denting or curling of corners; minor variation in finished size, trim, margin or alignment within standard commercial tolerances; colour variation between on-screen preview and printed output; any error, omission or quality issue arising from the Customer Content.
    • Resolution: Where a valid claim is established, Printster's sole liability shall be, at Printster's election, (a) to reprint and re-deliver the defective Product or component; or (b) to refund the proportionate value of the defective Product or component to the original payment instrument. Where an Order contains multiple Products and only some are defective, the refund shall be limited to the proportionate value of the defective Product(s) only.
    • Return shipping for defective Products shall be borne by Printster only where the defect is established and the Customer has complied with the inspection and unboxing-video requirements above.
    • Outer limit: 48 hours for damage; 7 calendar days for missing / wrong / shortage and production defects. Beyond these windows, Printster may entertain a claim only at its sole discretion and only if raised within 10 calendar days of delivery. Beyond 10 days, no claim of any nature shall be entertained.

  11. Confidentiality of Customer Content
    • Files uploaded by the Customer shall be deleted from Printster's primary fulfilment systems following completion of the Order, and shall not be shared with any third party except as required for fulfilment (e.g., production partners, courier partners) or as required by law.
    • Printster takes no responsibility for any document that is freely or commonly available on the public internet or that has been uploaded by the Customer to a public location.

    • Aggregate liability cap: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Printster's total aggregate liability to the Customer arising out of or in connection with any Order, regardless of the cause of action, shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the Customer to Printster for that specific Order. Nothing in these Terms shall, however, limit any rights of a "consumer" under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded by contract.
    • Site feedback: Any comments, suggestions, proposals or other feedback provided by the Customer to Printster shall be deemed non-confidential. The Customer assigns to Printster, free of charge, all right, title and interest in such Feedback, including all intellectual property rights, and Printster shall be free to use such Feedback without restriction.
