Every rate below is the one the live pricing engine charges, including the copy tiers that most estimators miss — A4 black and white falls from Rs 0.60 to Rs 0.57 at 50 copies and Rs 0.54 at 100 copies or more, and soft cover binding falls from Rs 110 to Rs 65 and then Rs 40. GST at 5% is shown separately.

A5 black and white double-sided runs Rs 0.38, falling to Rs 0.34 at 100 copies or more — the cheapest rate we publish. A4 single-sided is Rs 0.85, and A4 colour double-sided is Rs 3.36, falling to Rs 3.06 at 100 copies or more.

What this estimator does not cover
Only the four rate combinations we can state exactly are priced here: A4 black and white single and double sided, A5 black and white double sided, and A4 colour double sided. Those cover the overwhelming majority of orders. Premium stocks — 85 gsm Bond and Duo, 100 gsm Bond and Duo, 130 gsm Matte and the heavier cover papers — and A3, B5 and colour on A5 are priced in the official price calculator, which reads the engine directly. This tool will tell you when your combination is one of those rather than guess at it.

- How much does printing cost per page in India?
- At Printster, A4 black and white printed double-sided is Rs 0.60 a page for a normal 1 to 49 copy order, Rs 0.57 at 50 to 99 copies, and Rs 0.54 at 100 copies or more. Single-sided A4 is Rs 0.85. A5 double-sided is Rs 0.38, falling to Rs 0.34 at 100 copies or more. Colour on A4 double-sided is Rs 3.36, falling to Rs 3.06 at 100 copies or more. All are before 5% GST.
- What does binding cost per copy?
- Corner staple Rs 2, staple Rs 15, centre staple Rs 25, centre staple with lamination Rs 35, spiral Rs 40, comb and wiro Rs 45, glue or tape Rs 60, soft cover Rs 110, hard binding Rs 250, hard binding with golden print on the front Rs 275, and with the spine lettered too Rs 350.
- Does binding get cheaper in bulk?
- Three of them do. Soft cover binding drops from Rs 110 to Rs 65 at 51 copies and Rs 40 at 101. Centre staple drops from Rs 25 to Rs 20 at 51. Hard binding with golden print on front and spine drops from Rs 350 to Rs 300 at 51. The rest are flat at any quantity.
- Is GST included in the price?
- No, the rates above are before GST. Printing is taxed at 5%, which this estimator adds as a separate line so you can see both figures.
- What does it cost to print a 200-page thesis?
- 200 A4 pages double-sided at Rs 0.60 is Rs 120 of printing. Hard binding adds Rs 250, so Rs 370 before GST, or Rs 388.50 with 5% GST. With golden print on the front and spine instead, it is Rs 470 before GST.
- Is delivery included?
- No. Delivery is charged separately and depends on the weight of the parcel and where it is going. Cash on Delivery is not offered on any order - payment is taken online before printing.
