Online Print Shop in Mumbai

Printster prints for Mumbai and couriers the job; there is nothing here to collect. Upload a PDF, pay online, and it reaches a Mumbai address in 5 to 10 working days, production included. We have shipped 2,814 orders to Mumbai over 24 months, rank 6 nationally, rank 1 of the 35 places we serve in Maharashtra and 29.6% of our volume there. Two Mumbai submission specifications sit in our file: one fixes the cover colour by degree, the other fixes which side of the paper carries the text.

Two Mumbai specifications, and one sets the cover colour by degree

IIT Bombay sets the cover colour by degree: black for a PhD thesis, grey for an M.Tech, M.Phil or M.Des dissertation, maroon for a DIIT project report, brown for a B.Tech or M.Sc project report. Evaluation copies may be spiral bound or soft bound; the copies handed in after the viva-voce must be hard bound, the spine embossed in gold with degree, candidate's name and year. Source iitb.ac.in, checked 31 August 2026.

The University of Mumbai names the paper where IIT Bombay leaves it open: white bond of 95% whiteness or above, 70 gram per square metre or more, standard A4, printed on a single side of the page, with B.E. reports on both sides. Its cover is black, its spine gold, and each chapter begins on a fresh page with an extra top margin of about 75 mm. Source spce.ac.in, checked 31 August 2026.

Neither specification names a Printster product or a price, so confirm what applies to you with your department. IIT Bombay's geometry is exact: a text block 245 mm tall and 160 mm wide, 15 mm at the top or 30 mm without a header, 22 mm at the bottom, and 30 mm left against 20 mm right on odd pages, reversed on even ones.

What a single-sided submission costs on the card

That single-side requirement lands on a different line of the rate card from most Mumbai work. A4 black and white is ₹0.85 a page single-sided and ₹0.60 double-sided, both at the standard tier of 1 to 49 copies of a document of 21 pages or more. The lightest paper we list is 75 GSM Normal; whiteness is not a figure our list states, so take the 95% requirement to your department.

Four totals are published for a 200-page thesis, all A4 black and white double-sided on 75 GSM Normal at the 1 to 49 copy tier: ₹120 for the pages alone, ₹370 with hard binding, ₹395 with golden print on the front, ₹470 with front and spine, before 5% GST. All four are double-sided, so none of them describes a University of Mumbai submission printed on one side.

A hardbound job for Mumbai averages 904 pages, usually one copy

Hardbound books are 2.4% of everything we print for Mumbai against 1.3% across India, about 1.8 times, on 209 printed items, and a job of that kind averages 904 pages at a mean of 1.6 copies. Read that share against Mumbai's 8,718 printed items, not its 2,814 orders: one order usually carries several lines.

PDF and document printing takes 70.8% of what we print for Mumbai against 79.3% across India, about 0.9 times, and averages 185 pages at a mean of 9.9 copies. It reaches the volume tiers a submission copy never does. A4 black and white double-sided is ₹0.60 a page from 1 to 49 copies, ₹0.57 on the 50 to 99 copy tier, and ₹0.54 at 100 copies or more.

Paperback books are 15.5% of Mumbai items against 10.7% nationally, about 1.4 times, on 1,351 items, averaging 360 pages at 4.0 copies. E-book printing averages 519 pages at 4.4 copies. Study material and guides run 2.3% here against 1.0% across India, about 2.2 times, on 197 printed items. Flash cards take 2.2% against 0.4% nationally, about 4.9 times. These are the top rows of the Mumbai table, not the whole catalogue.

Soft cover on 21.3% of Mumbai work, spiral on 16.3%

Soft cover (perfect) binding, ₹110 a copy on the 1 to 50 copy tier, is chosen on 21.3% of everything we print for Mumbai against 11.4% across India, about 1.9 times, on 1,759 items. Hard binding with a colour cover takes 2.2% here against 1.2% nationally, about 1.8 times. Spiral sits at 16.3% against 17.6%, corner staple at 3.1% against 5.4%. The finish chosen most often here is still loose sheets with nothing bound, on 49.0% of printed items.

The difference matters against a submission date. Production runs 3 to 5 working days. Soft cover, hard binding at ₹250 a copy, glue/tape and saddle stitch add 1 to 2 working days on top of that; spiral, comb, wiro and staple do not. IIT Bombay accepts an evaluation copy spiral bound or soft bound, and those two land on opposite sides of that line.

That is configuration, not a measurement of what a parcel did, and not a date to book a viva against. DTDC is configured on 91 of them.

Frequently asked questions

Which IIT Bombay copies may be spiral bound?
Evaluation copies may be spiral bound or soft bound; the copies submitted after the viva-voce must be hard bound. That distinction has a calendar in it: spiral does not extend production, while hard binding and soft cover each add 1 to 2 working days on top. Source iitb.ac.in, checked 31 August 2026.
Does the University of Mumbai want one side of the paper or both?
A single side of the page, with B.E. reports printed on both sides. The guideline also asks for white bond of 95% whiteness or above and 70 gram per square metre or more, at standard A4. On our card A4 black and white is Rs 0.85 a page single-sided and Rs 0.60 double-sided at the standard tier.
Can a Mumbai order be timed to a viva date?
Not as a promise. A Mumbai order is estimated at 5 to 10 working days, counted from the working day after we accept it. Production alone takes 3 to 5 working days. Hard binding, soft cover, glue/tape and saddle stitch each add 1 to 2 working days on top; spiral, comb, wiro and staple do not.
The carrier shows a 3 to 4 day band for Mumbai. Is that the delivery time?
No. That band is what the courier network has configured for the leg after printing, on 75 of the pincodes we reach here. It records a carrier's setup, not what any parcel did. The published estimate for a Mumbai order stays 5 to 10 working days.
Can I hand a file over or collect an order in Mumbai?
No. Files reach us as uploads and every Mumbai order leaves by courier. The 109 pincodes and 198 localities on this page are places we deliver to, not places we occupy: no counter, no agent, no collection point. Collection exists at our Delhi facility, for Delhi orders alone. Payment is online, in full, before printing.
We need 100 copies of one document sent to Mumbai. What changes?
The per-page rate, not the process. A4 black and white double-sided is Rs 0.60 at the standard 1 to 49 copy tier, Rs 0.57 on the 50 to 99 copy tier and Rs 0.54 at 100 copies or more, before GST. Binding is charged for each copy on top. A PDF job for Mumbai averages 9.9 copies.
