Assignment Printing

You can print assignments online through Printster by uploading your PDF or Word file, selecting paper, print mode, and binding, then paying online. Your printed assignment is delivered to your door across India — no trip to a print shop needed.

Missing the college print shop before a submission deadline is stressful. Printster lets you print assignments from anywhere in India: upload your file at midnight if you need to, configure the options, and get your printed document delivered straight to your hostel or home address. Accepted file formats include PDF, DOCX, DOC, JPG, and PNG up to 100 MB per file. PDF with embedded fonts is the safest choice to preserve formatting, especially for documents with tables, equations, or non-standard fonts. Single-sided or double-sided printing is available, along with a range of binding options to meet different submission requirements. Payment is online only — UPI, cards, or net banking. Cash on delivery is not available, and store pickup is also an option if you are nearby.

Choosing Print Settings for Assignments

Most university assignments are submitted on A4 paper. If your institution specifies a particular format (such as one-sided printing for official projects), configure that before ordering. For everyday submissions that do not have strict rules, duplex (double-sided) printing halves your page count and keeps the document compact — useful when binding multiple sections together.

Black-and-white printing keeps costs low for text-heavy assignments. If your work includes charts, screenshots, or design elements that need to be read clearly, select colour printing for those pages or for the entire file.

Binding for Assignments

The binding choice depends on your submission requirements and page count:

If your college specifies a particular binding in the submission guidelines, match that exactly to avoid rejection.

File Tips to Avoid Mistakes

Before uploading, check that your margins are at least 10–15 mm on all sides — Printster does not print borderless, and content too close to the edge may be clipped. If your assignment was written in Word with a custom font, export it to PDF first and verify the PDF looks correct. This prevents font substitution during printing.

For assignments submitted as images (scans of handwritten work), upload JPG or PNG files. Ensure each image is at least 150 DPI for readable output, ideally 300 DPI.

Frequently asked questions

Can I print a Word document directly without converting to PDF?
Yes, Printster accepts DOCX and DOC files. However, converting to PDF first is strongly recommended to lock in your formatting — Word files can reflow if fonts differ on the print system.
What is the minimum order for assignment printing?
There is no minimum. You can print a single copy of a 1-page or 100-page assignment.
My assignment has a specific margin requirement. How do I ensure it prints correctly?
Set your margins within your document before exporting to PDF. Printster prints exactly what is in your file. Make sure all content falls at least 10 mm from every edge, as borderless printing is not supported.
Will my assignment arrive before my submission deadline?
Delhi NCR orders typically arrive in 4–7 working days; the rest of India in 7–10 working days, counted from the next working day. Plan your order well before the deadline, as courier timelines are estimates.
Can I pay with UPI?
Yes. Printster accepts UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking. Cash on delivery is not available.
My college requires single-sided printing for the assignment. Can I configure that?
Yes. Single-sided (simplex) printing is available as an option alongside double-sided (duplex). Select it when configuring your print job.
