Is COD Available for Printing?
No. Printster does not offer cash on delivery. All orders must be paid online before printing begins — you can pay by debit or credit card, net banking, or UPI. Store pickup is available at the Printster facility for those who prefer collecting in person.
Cash on delivery is a popular payment method in India for e-commerce, but it does not work well for custom printing. Unlike a standard product that can be returned to stock if a customer refuses delivery, a printed document is produced specifically for your order — it cannot be resold or reused. This is why Printster, like virtually every professional online printing service in India, requires full payment before your files are sent to press. The good news is that paying online is straightforward. Printster accepts all major debit and credit cards, net banking from most Indian banks, and UPI payments including Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm. Once payment is confirmed, your files move into the print queue immediately. If you have an international card and cannot transact online, you can email Printster to arrange an order manually.
Why COD Is Not Available for Printing
Printing is a make-to-order service. The moment your PDF is sent to press, paper, toner, binding materials, and machine time are consumed on your specific job. A delivery refusal cannot undo that cost — which is why prepayment is standard practice across the industry, not unique to Printster.
This is different from buying a physical product on Amazon or Flipkart, where the same item can go back to a warehouse and be sold again.
Payment Options on Printster
- UPI: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and any BHIM-compatible UPI app.
- Debit / Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, RuPay — Indian and international cards.
- Net Banking: Most major Indian banks are supported at checkout.
- International Cards: If you face issues transacting online, contact Printster by email to place an order manually.
Can I Pick Up Instead?
Yes. If you are located near Printster's facility, store pickup is available. You pay online when placing the order, and collect the printed documents once your order is ready — no need to wait for courier delivery. This is useful for urgent orders where you can visit in person.
Keeping Your Payment Safe
All transactions on Printster go through a secure payment gateway. Card details are never stored on Printster's servers. If you prefer UPI, it requires no card entry at all — just a PIN on your phone. Refunds for cancelled or erroneous orders are processed back to the original payment method.
Planning Your Order
Because there is no COD, ensure your file is ready and you are satisfied with the preview before paying. Printster shows a page count and order summary at checkout. If you spot an error after payment, contact support as quickly as possible — once printing has started, changes may not be possible.
