Is Printo cheaper than Printster?

We cannot give you a straight answer, because Printo does not publish a per-page rate. Their document printing product advertises ₹38 including taxes for one quantity, configured as A3, black & white, 70 gsm, single side, unbound. Our A4 black & white rate is ₹0.54 per page double-sided before GST. Those two numbers describe different things, so comparing them directly would be misleading.

Printster rates are per page excluding GST on 75 gsm. Printo’s starting price is what their configurator showed at its default settings on 31 August 2026; changing size, paper or page count changes it.

Why there is no per-page row for Printo

We checked their Custom Document Printing page on 31 August 2026. It does not state a per-page rate anywhere. The price updates only after you set document type, size, page count, paper, print sides and copies. At the default settings it showed ₹38 inclusive of all taxes for 1 quantity (A3, black & white, 70 gsm uncoated, single side, unbound loose sheets — the configurator's default, 1 quantity, inclusive of all taxes). We have quoted exactly that and nothing more. Publishing a per-page figure for Printo would mean inventing one, and an invented number is worse than an absent one.

Which is better for your job

Thesis or dissertation

Printster, on predictability. A 250-page thesis on A4 in black & white prices at ₹0.54 a page plus ₹350 for hard binding with golden print on front and spine — that is 250 × ₹0.54 = ₹135 of pages plus ₹350 of binding, so about ₹485 before GST and delivery — and you can work that out before uploading.

Exam and study notes

Printster, if the run is long. Per-page pricing is where a published rate card matters most, and A5 at ₹0.34 a page is our cheapest option for bulk notes.

Project reports

Depends on the deadline. If it is due tomorrow and you are in one of Printo’s four cities, their 4–6 hour service solves a problem we cannot. If you have a week, our spiral binding is ₹40 per copy with rates published up front.

Printo, often. Free standard delivery and a same-day option in four metros make short jobs easy, and on one document the per-page rate barely matters.
